Gymnastics

Parent Tot – Toddler Ages 12 months to 32 months: This class is filled with action and fun to develop motor skills, attention, and listening for our new little jumpers and tumblers. We incorporate mini bars, beams, trampolines, and multiple shape mats for the ultimate mini experience. Parental involvement increases family bonds.

Blue Frogs “Beginner” – Ages 3 to 5: This class is for our beginner gymnasts, and it includes activities that develop early gymnastic skills, attention, and listening for our new little jumpers and tumblers. We continue with more independent use of the mini bars, beams, trampolines, and multiple shape mats for the ultimate mini experience. Parental involvement is encouraged as recommended by the coach.

Leopard Frog “Intermediate” – Ages 4 to Young 6:  Our developing gymnasts are learning to perfect cartwheels and other basic tumbling skills. They continue to hone their skills on the mini bars, beams, trampolines, and multiple mats which improve performance in an all around gymnastic experience.

Bull Frog “Advanced” – Ages 4 to Young 6: Gymnasts in this class have mastered cartwheels and are ready for more advanced gymnastic skills. Round offs, one arm cartwheels, handsprings, and walkovers are a few of the skills learned in this class. Mini bars, beams, trampolines, and multiple mats are used to solidify foundational skills as athletes begin to choose a more specific path for future training.

Kangaroo – Ages 6+: This class is for our older students who are learning to master basic gymnastic skills, such as a Straight Leg Cartwheel.

Advanced Beginner 1 – Ages 6+: At this age, the gymnast must demonstrate a Straight Leg Cartwheel with lunge as they develop more tumbling and trampoline skills. These athletes will work to master round off and jump skills.

Advanced Beginner 2 – Ages 6+: Athletes in this class must show mastery of a strong round off with rebound.  This is mainly a tumbling and trampoline class which will help gymnasts develop walkovers, handsprings, and jumps.​

Teen Tumble – Ages 10+: Athletes in this class must be able to complete a round off.  This is mainly a tumbling and trampoline class which will help gymnasts develop round offs, walkovers, handsprings, and jumps.​

Running Tumble – Ages 8+: Our participants in this class must demonstrate a solid round off with back handspring.  Gymnasts will learn connections of multiple back handsprings and flips for those who already have back handsprings. Standing tumbling is also included in this class. Twice a week participation is strongly encouraged.

Boys Rec – Ages 6+: These classes prepare our young athletes for competitive gymnastics.  Twice a week participation is recommended.  Mastery of these skills requires twice a week attendance.

Make-Up Classes:

Friday, December 1st, 8th, and 15th, at 7:15pm
